Family Pet Veterinary Clinic, Nick West, Corovet

Dr Nick West is the owner of Familypet Vet. He graduated in 1972 at Sydney University with Honours. He started O’Halloran Hill Veterinary Practice in 1975, which he sold in 1987. When he moved with his family to McLaren Vale, he opened the Mclaren Vale Familypet Vet . Five Years later he opened the Coromandel Valley Clinic close to Blackwood. Nick still lives in McLaren Vale with his wife and daughter, he still enjoys General Practice after 43 Years. Nick has 2 dogs. Ani and Smidge. Nick loves the outdoors and occasional fishing when he can find the time.

Dr Donna Sayer qualified from the university of Sydney and has over 25 years of general veterinary experience, donna has a real interest in emergency work. She lives in the Adelaide Hills with her husband, 8 children and a menagerie of pets.

Coromandel Valley Vet Amanda

Dr Amanda Henderson qualified at Murdoch University in Western Australia in 1995. Amanda has a vast variety of experience  in all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery.  Amanda worked briefly in charity clinics in Thailand and Malaysia assisting communities by desexing and treating stray dogs and cats. Amanda joined Familypet Vet in 2009 and has been settled in Adelaide for over 10 years with her young family. She also lives with her Cavoodle Edna.

Dr Arielle Bridges from WillungaDr Arielle Bridges qualified at the University of Adelaide and began her veterinary career in the Adelaide Hills before joining the team at Familypet Vet. She grew up in Willunga and went to high school in McLaren Vale so is very excited to be back servicing the local area! She has also spent some time working with animals in Africa and Indonesia.
Arielle is particularly interested in animal dentistry ahd surgery and enjoys the challenges being a vet presents on a daily basis.
In her spare time, Arielle loves to keep active whether it be playing basketball, hiking Mt Lofty or walking her dogs (Chad and Dizzy the golden retrievers and labradoodles Zailee and Willow). Arielle has a keen interest in the outdoors and a passion for AFL football. When she isn’t outdoors Arielle loves spending time in the kitchen and baking desserts for friends and family!

Dr Sarah Jayalamar joined the Familypet Vet team in January 2019. She ran her own practice for 10 years in Malaysia before immigrating to Australia. Sarah enjoys every aspect of small animal veterinary science. In her spare time she likes watching her children and husband play soccer.

Dr Anne Millburn qualified in Belgium and has worked in England as a Veterinary Surgeon for 18 years. She obtained her certificate in Veterinary Practice Management in 2004 at the RCVS in London. Anne moved to Adelaide in 2007 with her husband, two children and their ‘Cat Adoption League’ cat Trouble. Since then she had added a border terrier named monkey, a kelpie and a second rescue cat to the mix. Anne joined the Familypet Vet team at McLaren Vale and Coromandel Valley in 2009 as practice manager. She loves working with this amazing team who are all dedicated to your pets health.

Michelle Littlewood has been nursing for over 30years . Michelle has a very special rapport with all animals with a vast experience in Animal Behaviour and has been the core of our Puppy Preschool at Coromandel Valley for many years . Michelle is a certificate   IV in companion animal services and has a special interest in rearing and caring for native pets including kangaroos and possums. Michelle Is married with 4 children. She lives at Blakiston with her family, 2 dogs a GSD called Benda and the famous Bella seen often at the clinic , 1 x cat Akili , 1 x carpet python , 2 kangaroos “Rocklea’, Trevor and 2 x sheep Buddy and Chops . after over 17 years with us in Coromandel Valley Michelle is the centre of the nursing team .

Bronwyn Thomas has been nursing for over 35 years. Bronwyn was the original practice manager of Coromandel Valley for 13yrs but has also headed nursing staff in a major emergency cCoromandel Valley Vet Bronwynentre and specialised in dermatology, assisting in establishing the original Adelaide animal skin and allergy clinic referral centre. Bronwyn was the National runner up and winner of SA/NT excellence in veterinary nursing award in 1997 she is also married with a son , a cat called “Yoi”, and “Hurtle” the Murray river long neck turtle. After a break from nursing to run her own business for 7 years Bronwyn is back doing what she loves the most Veterinary Nursing .

Natasha Jones has been nursing since 2007 and started at Familypet Vet in 2012. She has special interests in weight loss clinics for pets and in puppy preschool, she also loves assisting the vets in surgery. She lives with her husband Chris and daughter Matilda along with her animal family Tazer, Tanayja & Phantom the border collies, Willy & Nymeria the cats, Onyx & Peter the rabbits and Kahli the rainbow lorikeet.

Tayla Sims has been working at FamilyPet Vet McLaren Vale Vet Clinid and Coromandel Valley Vet clinics since 2013 after being extremely lucky to join the practice after doing work experience at the McLaren Vale Clinic.
Tayla is now doing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing while living at home with her family and her best friend Simba her puggle. Her other family pets are their border collie, Nan, Kitty the cat, Tweetie the bird and Maisie the rat.

Morgan Smith Familypet Vet Seaford, Willunga, Blackwood, Eden HillsMorgan Smith

Morgan has been vet nursing since 2011. After getting her qualifications at Reynella vet clinic she worked in the animal health centre at the Adelaide Zoo, before coming to our clinic at Coromandel Valley in 2015. Growing up on a farm in McLaren Vale, she has always had a love for all animals. She has three dogs that keep her busy, Bam the Border collie, Ruby the Heeler and Tilly the kelpie and Anarki the youngest border collie.
